Benihana offers everything lovers of Japanese cuisine would expect from a traditional  Japanese-style hibachi steakhouse: first-rate, genuine Nipponese food prepared by expert chefs, teppan-yaki style at your table, with the kind of samurai-like knife-play and showmanship you might find in a Jet Li film.  Watch closely in delight as the fine ingredients (many imported from Japan) are sliced, diced and cooked at lightning speed and served piping hot to you and your friends simultaneously. (Just be careful when the chef slices the egg in mid-air!) It’s no wonder that their own chefs describe an evening at Benihana as “eater-tainment”. The show is great but the sushi, tempura and teppan-yaki dishes, made with everything from scallops and beef julienne to lobster, are even better! Catch the longest-running dinner show in the Western hemisphere, now playing at Trincity mall – and it’s rated G – even if grownups tend to love the show even more than children!
